HOW TO GET THERE
There are two ways to go to Lombok, by air and by ferry.
By air : 25 minutes flight from Denpasar to Mataram Lombok provided by local air carriers. Garuda, the national airliner, set an evening schedule to Mataram Lombok based on daily flight. The other airliners put their schedule in the morning and afternoon.
The other choice is by Ferry from Padang Bay harbor to Ampenan Lombok. It is cheap, mingled with local passengers and it takes four hours to get across.
Or if you don’t want to waste your time there is rapid boat GILI CAT starting from Sanur.
Actually the passengers are transfered from Sanur by car to Padang Bay Harbour and from there the Gili Cat will cater them to Lombok in just 2 hours time.
This is how it works.
Sanur-Lombok :
07h00 Departure from Sanur to Padang bay harbour in minibus.
08h30 Departure on board the boat to Lombok
10h30 Arrival at Gili Trawangan isle to drop some passengers. Then proceed to Teluk Kode.
11h00 Arrival at Teluk Kode the final destination. You have to take taxi or book a transfer to go to your hotel.
The return trip to Bali.
Take a taxi or book a transfer from your hotel to Teluk Kode.
11h30 Departure of the boat to Padang Bay directly.
13h30 Arrival at Padang Bay, and then transfer by car to Sanur
